Whether designing a custom tower and accessories package for a new boat or retrofitting an existing vessel, you can be sure that the BAT team will create a solution that is both eye-catching and functional.

  • Tim Bausch - President

Tim BauschYou could say that Tim Bausch was born into the marine tower business. While in high school, he worked after school and weekends in his father's boat yard and tower fabricating shop. In a few short years, he went from scraping and painting bottoms to learning all aspects of the marine service industry. After high school, Tim enrolled in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. His ambition was to learn how to work on airplanes and then convert this knowledge to the marine manufacturing and service industry. Upon his return to Port Salerno, Tim rejoined the family business with a goal to expand the tower business. Tim eventually took over the business and founded Bausch Towers in 1999. In 2001, Tim was offered the opportunity to expand the business further by partnering up with American Custom Yachts (ACY). Bausch-American Towers was born and the tower facility moved to the ACY property on the Okeechobee Waterway, offering unlimited access from the entire eastern seaboard and the Gulf of Mexico. In 2004, BAT expanded its presence in the mid-Atlantic region teaming up with electronics affiliate IMS American Marine Electronics and opening a joint tower and electronics facility in Beaufort, North Carolina. Today, Tim oversees tower installations worldwide with recent installations in Taiwan and Brazil.
