Company History

Charlie BauschFounded by Charlie Bausch in 1977, Bausch-American Towers (BAT) has represented the pinnacle of excellence in sportfishing tower design and fabrication for over three decades. Charlie's son, Tim, took over the helm in 1999 after honing his skills for many years under his father's watchful eyes. In 2001, Tim moved the operation to American Custom Yachts 63-acre marine service facility located on the Okeechobee Waterway in Stuart, Florida. The Stuart operation encompasses a covered yacht port for the installation of electronics and accessories, accommodating vessels up to 120 feet in length with a 52-foot clearance.

Tim BauschIn 2005, Tim expanded operations into North Carolina with the addition of an ultra-modern, 30,000-square-foot waterfront facility situated on a 2.2-acre site at the Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park in Beaufort. Serving as the company's mid-Atlantic base of operations, the facility is fully heated and designed to accommodate two 80-foot vessels side by side with a 50-foot clearance. To improve efficiency, a remote-controlled overhead crane provides the ability to work on numerous tower jobs simultaneously.

The demand for Bausch-American Towers' craftsmanship has grown worldwide, with projects as far away as Taiwan, Brazil and New Zealand.
